Educational Field Experiences

Position Description: The primary responsibilities for the GA  in this placement would be as follows: 1) regular professional communication (both oral and written) with educators; 2) tracking student field experiences and reporting data for accreditation purposes; 3) traveling to schools to observe field work; and 4) assisting field director with building positive field relationships.

Basic requirements: Typing, driving, speaking, writing, computer work including tacking,c harting, and storing data, teaching.

Specific assignments/responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement field experiences for the educaiton unit to  meet the rquirements of Chapter 49.
  • Support and track educational field experiences in an effort to meet the requirements of PDE and NCATE.
  • Support Pre-K-12 teachers in an on-going effort to collaborate with pre-service teachers.
  • Develop programs geared toward building positive relationships between the Teacher Education Unit and local school districts.
