Athletic Mentoring

The position will be a 18-20-hour-per-week graduate assistantship within the Athletic Mentoring/CHAMPS/Life Skills Program. The graduate assistant will assist in the areas of supervision and management of athletic study table sessions, developing, organizing and conducting workshops, collecting and entering data, researching grant opportunities for the program, implementing and maintaining technological areas of the program, and organizing service-learning opportunities.

 
Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Acceptance into a Mansfield University Graduate Degree Program
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, communication skills both written and oral) and computer literacy skills
  • Any prior intercollegiate athletic participation would is highly preferred but not required.
Specific Assignments/Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the coordination of Athletic Mentoring/CHAMPS/Life Skills Programming
  • Collect and enter data for  academic tracking reports and other related projects
  • Collect, analysis data for annual review and assessment of program
  • Assist with the management of the technological needs of the program
  • Management, supervision, reporting, and  assessment of athletic study table sessions
